The internal safety harness (patent pending)allows you to buckle your baby securely into the carrier, and then put baby and carrier on like a backpack. You can move your baby from a front carry to a back carry (or vice-versa) or hand your baby off to someone else to carry, all without ever taking baby out of the Butterfly 2 Baby Carrier.
The stay put strap allows the Beco Butterfly 2 to be rolled into a compact bundle when the soft structure carrier is not in use. If you leave the Butterfly buckled on and tie it up with the stay put strap, you can balance your child on the carrier on your hip for a more comfy hip carry (although you'll have to hold her with your arm, of course!)
The Beco Butterfly 2.0 is suitable for newborns through toddlers, from 7 to 45 pounds, and comfortably fits most adults. An instructional brochure and DVD are included.
