The Moby Wrap is simply a long piece of cloth that wraps around the wearer's body, forming a snug and secure pocket for your little one. Don't be fooled by the simplicity of this carrier -- it is comfortable, versatile, and surprisingly easy to use! This affordable carrier comes with a full-color, detailed instruction booklet and a matching carrying bag. One size fits most.
Note: although the Moby instruction booklet shows back carries, I do not recommend that you use the Moby as a back carrier. If you want to do back carries with your wrap, please choose the Wrapsody or contact me for help in choosing a back carrier appropriate for your needs.
Comfortable
The Moby Wrap is a wide piece of fabric that is wrapped over both shoulders. The design of the Moby Wrap uses your entire back, as well as your shoulders, to carry your baby's weight. It is amazingly comfortable and easy to wear. There are no buckles, snaps, or other fasteners.
Preemie to older baby
The Moby Wrap is an optimal baby carrier for premature and newborn infants. Parents
of preemies are often advised to practice "kangaroo care." This
skin-to-skin practice that promotes weight gain and facilitates
breastfeeding and bonding can be easily achieved with the Moby Wrap.
The Moby Wrap is also long enough to adapt to your growing baby, and
will provide excellent babywearing comfort and value throughout your
baby's first year. (Once your baby reaches 20 pounds, you will probably
prefer a more supportive carrier).
Versatile
There are many ways to wear your Moby Wrap. You can wear your baby facing you, facing the world, or on your hip.
Machine washable
The Moby Wrap is easy to clean. You can machine wash your Moby Wrap in cold water and tumble dry low. Slight shrinkage after washing may occur. Once you start wearing your Moby Wrap again, it will stretch out.
